This series has dwelled towards the bottom of my TRL for quite some time; having long since forgotten the series’ synopsis I was pleasantly surprised by the stories that awaited me. No, it wasn’t the scientific, post-apocalyptic extravaganza I had self-concocted, but instead a riveting intrigue/thriller page turner.
The stakes are thrillingly high in this ultimate game of cat and mouse. As a journalist seeks out her prey, little does she know, that she’s the one being hunted.
There’s certainly nothing dead in the water about Robyn Nyx’s latest offering; Dead Pretty sees a departure from Nyx’s previous works of imagination with this fast paced, fast burn romantic intrigue novel.
A new year and a new (to me) author, one that speaks deliciously to my dark and twisty side with Ignis.
I was initially drawn to this book due to its collaborative nature, having been produced by 3 authors writing one story together.
Book One in the Dark Peak Series I really enjoyed this story, whilst i haven’t read many of Cari Hunter’s books i know i’ll be hard pushed to find one i don’t like when i read the rest!
